Sailing on the Bosphorus is a real experience, offering both the joy of sailing and the opportunity to watch the fascinating sights of history in a perfect natural setting. There are two large marinas in the area; the Atakoy Marina on the European side, and the Amiral Fahri Koruturk Marina (Kalamis-Fenerbahce) on the Asian, both offering 24-hour services. If you are really keen on yachting, you may participate in the International Offshore Yacht Race which is held in Istanbul every summer.
